SAMAVIRTA is like a mountain stream, connecting all the currents as one.
All my life, I have been searching for a meaning. Sense I was a young boy, I wondered about the stars and galaxies, how did they all come into a being. As a good student in physics and mathematics, I got accepted in one of the best universities in Finland to deepen my knowledge about the existence. In the university, the paths regards to neuroscience and cosmology where interesting, but I had hard time finding my place in the field. It seemed I was missing something.
In 2018, I had a profound insight into psyche and how consciousness worked, and I got very keen into the internal landscape of the mind. I found that the hard question of consciousness was not hard, if one has good instruments to study. With the tools from linages of Yoga, I was able to access the universal consciousness, and I started to find answers to meaning and life in general.
Tools like Theravada Meditation go straight to the experience, studying the object and the subject. This ancient scientific method has been lost in the modern world where we cut everything as separate, claiming impossible objectivity over things. We work as a systemic whole, and we are inseparable from subject-object relationship. We are connected in the same current of life.
Inspired from the ancient ways to understand the world and who we are, SAMAVIRTA builds bridges between Traditional Knowledge Systems and the modern world, where we embrace the old with novel, integrated ways.
